  2.               Standard Install: Local Host Information

  6. Standard Install will install all EnlightenDSM components onto your local
  7. machine. EnlightenDSM consists of three major components: a Global 
  8. Managment Server (GMS) which includes both a Progammable Events Processor 
  9. (PEP) and an Enterprise Management Database (EMD), Distributed System 
  10. Agents (DSA), and a Graphical User Interphase (GUI). 
  11.  
  12. The GMS requires approximately 17M free disk space.
  13. The DSA and GUI require approximately 40M free disk space.
  14.  
  15. The root password is required for installation.
  16.  
  17. Continue Button:
  18.  
  19. Press 'Continue' after you have specified the installation directories
  20. and the root password. At this time the EnlightenDSM installer will 
  21. verify that the root password is correct, the specified installation 
  22. directories contains sufficient free disk space, and the local machine's
  23. operating system is supported.

  25. If any errors are encountered, you will have a chance to re-specify
  26. your installation parameters before continuing. If no errors are 
  27. encountered, the Setup Remote Host(s) window will appear.

  29. No components are installed at this time.
  30.  
  31. Cancel Button:

  33. Press 'Cancel' to exit the EnlightenDSM Installer. 
  34. No components will be installed.

  36. Root Password:

  38. Enter the local machines root password in this text field.

  40. GMS Directory:
  41.  
  42. Enter the directory into which the GMS should be installed. This must be
  43. a local partition.

  45. GUI/DSA Directory:

  47. Enter the directory into which the GUI and DSA should be installed.
